Craftsman training scheme in Kerala is a joint effort of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under Ministry of Labour- Govt. of India & Govt. of Kerala. The training scheme is intended to create skilled technical manpower requirement for various engineering and non engineering departments all over the world. At grass root level engineering technicians are craftsman who do the actual technical work in engineering workshops and industries. Craftsman are those who assist engineer in research and development, Manufacturing, inspection and maintenance. The ever increasing demand of skilled technicians is existing all over the world.
